ABOUT
I am a photo-based artist re-located to Vancouver Island (Sidney) in the summer of 2021 after living in Ottawa for several decades.
I work with both digital and analog tools and techniques and enjoy the layering of processes.
My most recent work, Passages, is about memory, the sense of place and the disappearance of rural lands to urbanization. Historic processes allow infinite and unique interpretations, appeal to my love for hand-made objects and lend a sense of timelessness to my subjects.
I also work in the digital format, exploring in-camera as well as post-processing possibilities.
